Extending self-compassion
Pain is part of life. Don't exacerbate it by not being a kind partner to yourself. A kind partner sees pain as an opportunity to connect and understand, not judge and shame.
Defining enough
Whenever we think we’re not doing enough or that we should do more, we create self-judgment and stress. We think this will help us get more done, but negative emotions don’t produce positive results.
